Painting Estimator

Workzone Pty Ltd is a leading edge property and facility maintenance with Head Office based in Sydney. We are looking for a person with a trade background to fill a newly designed role as Assistant Operations Manager and as a Painting Estimator. Reporting to the Operations Manager the applicant will be expected to price, obtain new works and assist the Operations Manager to organise and monitor the day to day safe and efficient onsite operations through solid project management and superior people skills.
 
You will be responsible for managing a team of trades people and liaising with clients using your expert customer service skills.
The key outcomes for the position are:
·       estimating and increasing customer base, an incident free workplace, the optimisation of efficiency through the use and maintenance of operational standards, process controls, problem solving techniques, compliance to monthly operating plans and budgets.

 The Candidate:
  • In order to be successful you will need a trade background or suitable qualifications in painting.
  • Previous project management in the construction industry would be regarded highly.
  • YYou will be required to think outside of the square to resolve issues.
  • Computer skills are a must.
  • You should be able to demonstrate self-motivation and be time efficient to achieve results in this highly competitive marketplace.

Administration Support Officer

Workzone Pty Ltd is a leading edge property and facility maintenance within their Head Office based in Blacktown in Western Sydney. We are looking for a person with office experience to fill a newly designed role as an Administration Support Officer. 
 
The key outcomes for the position are:
 
·       Providing a range of administration support to the all managers including compiling reports and marketing material, preparing payroll, assisting with budgets, filing, archiving and any other ad-hoc administration duties as assigned
 
In order to be successful you will:
·        possess experience of 12 months or more in an office environment have previous experience in MS applications
  • be outgoing, friendly, decisive and strong, who enjoys overcoming challenges and has excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • be required to think outside of the square to resolve issues
  • be able to demonstrate self-motivation and be time efficient and organised to achieve results and deadlines
Please note: MYOB experience may be an advantage, but training will be provided
